And like what i would always say:
Good stuff are meant for the Queen.

Stupid sick stuff you find in that Japanese 2 dollar shop top floor in vivo.

Ah well, that's all i have for now. There's more actually, but i'm kind of feeling lazy already, and not not counting the fact that my sister is screaming into my ear to let her use the comp. Argh. Sisters.

By the way, there was a majorly big hint in this post. A great reminder for me.
(Those who want to guess, go ahead and be sherlock holmes. Have fun at the same time.)

Peace out. (Punk language, ain't it? Woot! New language have i learnt!)

Christmas 06

Christmas, isn't christmas, when it... (er, i forgot the lyrics)

Hmm. Whatever.

I still kinda dislike Christmas to a certain extent, not the fact that it's a remember-Jesus's-birth day, but more of the 'it's-a-memorial-day'. Why memorial? Blame it on the nostalgic me.

Ah, nostalgy. I'd rather regard it as stupidness. Stupid memories come up once again, and new hurts appear.

Service was quite ok, we sang Christmas songs and stuff. Pastor Mark shared about the meanings of Christmas. But Christmas after that got a little spoiled, not because of the old, but the new. THE NEW. (oh shut up brain)

Oh well. I loved the family part, we went shoane hotel to have dinner. Dad spent around 177 bucks for the 4 of us. (I love my dad) The hotel was cottage-like, small and personal. Very comfy, my dad made a really loud comment of bringing my future boyfriend to the place. It was superly embarrassing, especially when the waiters were laughing after they heard what he said.
Imagine the '-_-' look on my face.

We headed off to ang mo kio to visit my dad's friend, but the car broke down at the entrance of the carpark where cars were supposed to turn in and out. And it so happened that we were facing this oldie concert organised by some buddhist ritual. My sister got all spiritual and went like: "We are covered by the darkness! Satan knows that we are from the light, so he caused our car to break down!!" I mean it was probably true, but it was the moments that she said those that made it really hilarious.

My mom had to call AA (some car insurance company) to send people to help, they only got there around half an hour to 45 mins after we got stuck, and they didn't even bring the tow-truck. The guy kept insisting that it was the car battery which was causing the problem when even we, not educated for any car stuff, knew that it had nothing to do with the car batt. And yes, we wasted another 45 mins waiting for the tow truck to come.

During that time, i have to admit that we bonded quite alot. For example, my sister and i, screaming (not singing) christmas carols together (so that our voices could be louder than the oldie concert). Did i mention that we made stupid imitation dances of the people performing in the concert?

Since our car was blocking the way of others, we decided to push the car a little away from the turning. So yes, Christmas had become an official 'pushing the car' day.

Here are some treats:

We got home on a taxi and spent like another 12 bucks for the fare.

I thank God for my family, for they have made my Christmas a better one.
I think the insides of me have gone haywired..

(Not very suprising, that's how emotions work you see.)

I shan't write about YM and YA camp. It's too much of fun that typing it all down would probably take eternity, you see.

~
(Please do not speculate after reading, it would be irresponsible, whether or not you care.)

I'm not depressed or anything, but just frustrated, or more of confused.
Sometimes i'd rather not have any friends than to lose them all the time.

(And if any of you are reading this and mocking me, please tell your insensitive brain to keep silent because you aren't much better.)

I regret not treasuring things i ought to treasure the most, and treasuring the things which are the most worthless. And yes, i do wish that i could go back in time. But ah, like always, they are just wishes.

Now, i know that you don't treat me any better, it's probably worst. But i do wonder how much you cherish the friendship and memories we had. Yes, there are things that have to move on, but will this be one of them?

Are things reversable? Are they? Please say yes.

Birds often find a new flock to fly with once they get 'bored' with the old one.

Are you one of them? I hope not.
(Hopes, i would rephrase them as nothingness)

I know you'd probably not be reading this because you are supposedly happily prancing around with the others.

I do try to ask myself questions sometimes, like: Why do you treat everyone else better. Why is it that you can't treasure me the way i do to you.

And how silly i can get, because i know that these questions will never get answered.

What a christmas. I hate it.
(Take the memories with you, i don't need them. TAKE THEM.)

I'm afraid of christmas.

Ubin

Leaders Retreat:

What could i say?
Like what the older leaders think: it wasn't as tough as the previous.

Whatever the case is, we still had our fun, (even during the pumping positions).
And yes, through this, we saw each others true colours and frustrations. But still, we worked together.

They made us run around ubin at night for the first day. It was pitch black, the only source of light we had was from the moon. Quite freaky, but i thank God that i survived through. We walked around ubin and had to direct ourselves to our base before we could go sleep. Casualties? Yep, the fake ones. Eg. using blindfolds, being mute etc. It was more of hilarious than tedious. I loved it!

Task Force 1:
1. Ben L
2. Mandy
3. Vaness
4. Nicole
5. Char
6. ME
7. Shenna
8. Jarrold
9. Jun Wei
10. Grace
11. Ian
12. Sean
13. Gaius

I love Task Force 1.
And guess what? There were no toilets for us to bathe. And they forbid most of us from using the more civilised toilets for pee-ing. So Universal toilets, here we come. We didnt brush teeth and didnt bathe, and we still managed to live with the stench!!

We set up our own tents with groundsheets, bungee cords and ruffia strings (if that's how you spell it). But we couldn't sleep as there were indian techno music being played over at Malaysia at around 3 am in the morning.

The 2nd day was more relaxed. In a sense that we didn't have to run about the place, (not regarding the 5bx). And yes, i realised that my running stamina has deteriorated to quite a large extent. At around evening, we played war games. (which obviously involved water bombs)

TF1 vs TF2.
We were the defending team. We waited for quite long til the other team made their move. And yes, they were all like 'CHARGE!', and we were like 'AHHH!' (in fear that is). Quite silly. We lost the flag still.

We slept at 12 am.

2.30am, they woke us up with sirens and screaming. Most of us thought it was a nightmare. And since the sleepy minds forbid us from moving fast, we were punished with pumping positions while carrying our really heavy bags. We then set off from our base and started hiking, 'early' in the morning. Played more war games (where Char got injured), and continued hiking. We were made to put camouflage stuffies on our face, and Shenna, like what Aunty Aye Lan said, made a really pretty indian, (and that included the stud on her nose). Facial Mask! Hee.

Oh well, everything was great! I loved the cheers, the team bonding, so on and so forth. Hee.
